Nightguards/Splints

A nightguard, or dental splint, is an oral appliance that is worn at night to prevent the upper and lower teeth from grinding together during sleep, a condition also known as bruxism. Bruxism is responsible for several health issues, including chronic headaches, tooth pain, tooth cracking, and TMJ (temperomandibular joint disorder).

The nightguard is custom-made to provide an exact fit and to be only worn at night. It is usually made from clear, high quality plastic to provide stabilization and support for the jaw joint and muscles and alleviates muscle tension.
