Your First Visit
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Before your visit, our team will send you new patient paperwork and helpful office information. To streamline your appointment, we ask that you complete and return these forms electronically. On the day of your appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early. A friendly team member will greet you, verify your insurance, and guide you through any remaining paperwork. If you complete your forms beforehand, check-in will be even quicker!
Your comprehensive exam will take about one hour, allowing our dentist to assess your oral health and develop a personalized treatment plan. Please note that a cleaning may not occur during this first visit. If necessary, we’ll schedule a hygiene appointment following the exam to ensure the best care for your specific needs.
What to Bring
Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and any previous dental records or X-rays. Completing your new patient forms ahead of time will help keep your visit smooth and efficient.

- During Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, please contact your OB-GYN to send us a medical clearance prior to your visit.
- Hip or Joint Replacements: If you have had a hip or joint replacement, you may need to take premedication before your dental visit. Please contact your surgeon’s office for guidance and have them send us a medical clearance.
- Heart Conditions & Valve Replacements: If you have congenital heart issues or a heart valve replacement, you may need to take premedication before your appointment. Please follow up with your cardiologist or surgeon and have them send us a medical clearance.
